About Abigail

Abigail Abesamis Demarest is a writer, editor and former New Yorker based in sunny Panama City Beach, Florida. Her writing has been featured in HuffPost, Forbes, Insider, Business Insider, Martha Stewart, Muscle & Fitness, The Daily Meal, Zagat, Apartment Therapy, The Kitchn, Where Women Cook, Time Out, Gothamist, Thrillist, Walton Magazine, 30A, Beach Happy, and more.

A pre-med student during her undergraduate studies at Stony Brook University, Abigail graduated with a B.A. in English and went on to pursue her passion in writing and telling stories. Since completing the Columbia Publishing Course, Abigail has held positions at The Daily Meal (associate news editor) and Google/Zagat (via Synergis Creative, content editor).

Currently, Abigail writes and edits freelance stories for print and digital publications.
